What Makes a Good Leader

It has been brought to my attention on numerous occasions while on the internet that we need more leaders. People need to step up, take control, teach, mentor and leads others. But what really makes a good leader?

Have you heard the phrase, "teach because teachers become the best learners"? This is so true and as time goes by and you learn and grow as a person you are able to share your experiences with others. Even if you don't feel that you really know very much or that what you have to offer isn't valuable. In the beginning I had the same thoughts but I soon learned that even from all the mistakes I made, I could help others from making the same mistakes. That in itself makes a good teacher/leader.

As we grow and learn, we have more valuable information to share. Not every single person is ever going to know everything there is. And as we grow and learn, some people know more about things in certain areas then others. Like your expertise may end up being in blogging or social media marketing or Google adwords. It doesn't matter what area you prefer. Just lend your knowledge on that subject to others in order to teach them what you have learned. You have just become a good leader.

If you lead yourself, others will train with you. If you will be the example of discipline, others will desire your gift. By adding increase into others lives, you will soon notice that people will want to also work with you.

So, go out, make your mark and become the leader you have been waiting for.
